01 Feb 2008 - James joins the team

Everybody at Condor welcomes James Hardman our newest recruit into the company. Although James has been with us some 20 weeks every day of that has been spent at College. Although still having to visit the College every Wednesday most of his day will be made up of on the job workshop training. Starting with good customer handling techniques, good mechanical work practices and installation removal procedures. Our goal is to delight our customers whilst having fun but working hard. And so the real work begins!

Good luck to James from all the staff at Condor.

11 Oct 2007 Bruges trip Service Team - Man leaves club in the early hours of Saturday morning and knocks over row of push bikes

Another successful service trip completed, this time the picturesque town of Bruges in Belgium. Late nights, lots to eat and drink and a host of historic venues to visit "what a weekend". On reflection although a quieter type of city than Barcelona we still had lots of fun linked with fond memories. The one that sticks in my mind will be leaving a bar in the early hours of Saturday morning with Steve one of the engineers wobbling and knocking over a complete row of parked bicycles, to make it worse he was wearing a ladies fitted jacket which obviously belonged to someone else. A good time was had by all. Thanks again to Condor for rewarding dedicated hard work!

01 Nov 2006 - Man loses trousers in Barcelona

As a thank you for their great efforts and to foster team spirit our service department have a weekend away each year. This years trip was to Barcelona and took in all the sights and sounds of this great city including the Football Stadium, Los Ramblas, and the Cathedral. Highlight of the weekend however was without doubt an incident at the beach in the early hours of Saturday night. Undetterred by Wintry waters and no doubt bolstered by the San Miguel a number of the team braved a skinny dip. Potential disaster struck when some clothing was stolen by local tearaways. Spirits were not to be dampened however and special mention must go to Andy who spent the rest of the night with a strategically tied jumper instead of his trousers.
